Opened in 2001 by Craig and Vicki Leuthold, family-owned Maryhill Winery is one of Washington’s largest, and most visited, wineries, producing 80,000 cases annually. Named the 2015 Pacific Northwest Winery of the Year by Wine Press Northwest, Maryhill Winery is located in the Columbia River Gorge National Scenic Area in Goldendale, Washington.
Perched on a bluff and nestled among rows of vines, the winery offers panoramic views of Mount Hood and the Columbia River and is a popular destination for travelers. The Columbia Gorge is home to warm summer days and it's year-round appeal and excellent winemaking continues to gain recognition for offering "a world of wine in 40 miles.”
Visitors can enjoy wine tastings, live music on the Tuscan-style, vine-covered terrace every summer weekend Memorial Day through September, tours and special events, four tournament-quality bocce courts, and a world-class summer concert series in our adjacent 4,000-seat outdoor amphitheater.
Maryhill’s 3,000 sq. ft. tasting room and 1,200 sq. ft. Reserve Room with a private courtyard draw more than 75,000 wine enthusiasts from around the globe each year, ranking among the top-five most visited wineries in the state.
Gather with friends, family or co-workers for a rousing game of Bocce on one of our four tournament-quality bocce courts.
Our inviting Tasting Room and gift shop is the heart of our winery. Step through our doors and you’re immediately greeted by Mt. Hood framed in the west windows and our antique Brunswick Bar beckoning from the right.
