"My daughter learned new skills and had so much fun at her arts camp! OES has a beautiful campus and I love the small class sizes. The instructors are amazing. This is the first place I look for summer camps." OES Summer Camp Parent, 2017

Summer at OES combines their acclaimed inquiry-based approach to a wide variety of enriching and educational camps with a fun summer style. Enjoy Oregon Episcopal School’s beautiful 59-acre campus nestled among wetlands while learning new skills and making great friends. Small classes and expert instructors, many of whom are OES teachers, make for a nurturing and fun learning environment.

Students in grades Pre-K–12 can choose from more than 275 camps, including:

Grades K–3

  • Puppetry: Sock It to Me: Explore puppetry by making all types of puppets: stick, sock, finger, and muppet-like puppets. Write plays and produce your own show.
  • La Tea Da: Enjoy a magical week having tea with fairies! Create your own tutu, fascinator, and wings. Bake delicious treats, learn tea-sipping etiquette, and set a proper table.
  • Pre-K and Kindergarten Explorers: Enjoy creative and varied inquiry-based activities in a child-centered environment similar to the OES school experience.

Grades 3–8

  • Serve and Learn: Animal Friends: Broaden your horizons as you visit equine, llama, and rabbit animal-assisted therapy facilities and more!
  • Survive the Forest: Learn the basics of forest survival: how to read a map, navigate by compass, build a fire, and construct shelter.
  • Girls’ and Boys’ Lacrosse: Learn how to play lacrosse or hone your skills through individual sessions and games.

Grades 6–12

  • Rock Band for Beginners: Let your inner rock star shine as you learn the basics of playing the drums, piano, guitar, bass, or vocals. Choose one or more instruments and give a performance at the end of the week.
  • Mehndi: Henna: Make henna paste, roll cones for application, practice designs with color pencil, and apply your intricate designs.
  • Writing Skills: Designed for students entering ninth grade, this course introduces various high school critical writing expectations.
