Cascade Sotheby's International Realty - Teresa Arthur
I work with a diverse group of buyers and sellers. Focusing on the individual needs and priorities of my clients allows me to tailor a real estate strategy with the highest possible outcome of success. My favorite time in real estate is the magical moment when a transaction becomes a relationship.
Born in Stockholm, Sweden to American parents we moved back stateside when I was three. I grew up in Newberg, OR, a bedroom community about 20 miles SW of Portland. Now home to one of the best wine regions on the west coast known as the Willamette Valley AVA. Most notably known for the Pinot Noir varietal. I graduated from Oregon State University with a B.A. in Speech Communications. I truly consider myself a native Oregonian. My varied employment history includes working in production on point of sale video for Nike and landscape design. With a background in design it has helped me hone an eye for the potential of a property and see past the flaws.
I actively volunteer with a variety of local organizations; Oregon Food bank and SOLVE Oregon among them. I feel it is important to give what we can and give back to our communities. I donate my time and with each closing I participate in donating some commission to one of our designated charities through S.P.A.R.K., a recently formed charitable arm of Cascade Sotheby's International Realty.
In my spare time I enjoy photography, running, knitting, and movies. I live in downtown Portland with my husband and rescue lab-mix, Rory. The next time you’re poised to enter the market, I’d be honored to guide you through this important experience.
